At its heart the Christian faith is about a relationship with God. All relationships rely on communication, ours with God is no different.

Prayer is simply speaking to Him and allowing Him to speak to us in various ways. We firmly believe that god hears and prayers and that they do make a difference.

Jesus taught us to pray to God as our Father. This can be tough if we’ve been treated badly by our own parents. But God is the perfect parent, always wanting the best for us, always listening to us, always answering our prayers, in His time and in His way. Sometimes it’s when we look back on a situation that we can see God has answered our prayers.

Christians believe we live in a world which is far from perfect. It’s like this because the human race has largely turned its back on God. We all, Christians included, have troubles; sometimes huge ones, so do the people we know and love.

Prayer enables us to take all these things to God. Jesus promises to carry our burdens if only we’ll let Him and we can find a tremendous release just by letting things go to God, by trusting that he loves us a perfect parent and that we and those we love are safest when we are close to Him in prayer.

Once the prayer is posted we believe God hears and he will in time answer.
