All our groups join whole congregation congregation for the start of the service and go out to our own groups after the first Bible reading. We rejoin the service in time to receive Communion with our families.

Explorers do as their name suggests – exploring the Christian faith and who they are as young Christians, learning how to follow Jesus day by day. We use the XStream (Scripture Union) materials as our main resource, but are not limited by it; other appropriate resources are sometimes used if they would benefit our group members.

We explore Bible passages in a range of ways which have included discussion, prayer, games, crafts, posters and drama.

Explorers share their learning with the wider church and have been known to perform drama sketches in our Sunday services. Two of our Explorers helped to create our website by sharing some of their thoughts and experiences of church.
