Children's presentation during Holy Communion serviceSt Peter’s is a warm and welcoming church giving opportunity for people and families to get involved in our community and development at a pace which suits their individual circumstances. We give everyone opportunities to grow in faith, understanding and commitment to God in a supportive environment with shared care at its heart. Our small groups/home groups are a big part of what we do and who we are.

Whether you want to dive straight in or would prefer a gentle approach, our forward and outward looking focus embraces new ways to encourage spiritual growth and well being to fulfil God’s purpose and share His message with the wider community. In short, we believe we have been blessed by God to be a blessing to others, in all sorts of ways.

Our All Age music groupIf you think church is all about organs and unrecognisable language then think again. Whilst we value our roots, we are a modern and evolving church; we have a range of different services, on Sunday and other times.

At our Sunday service we have groups of children of all ages. Music is varied and lively and an important part of our services. The organ is rarely heard at St Peter’s, though our daughter church, All Saints has a much more traditional form of worship you will find that the language used in both churches is easily understood and there are opportunities to understand more.

We seek to apply faith to every day life in a relevant and understandable way. We are Christians 24/7 not just on Sundays. Our faith is about enjoying a relationship with God, it’s about community and changed lives.
